Lumpiang Shanghai


1 package of 50 sheets of spring roll/lumpia wrappers, medium sized.

1 /2 kilo ground pork

½ kilo chopped shrimp

¼ cup water chestnuts

¼ cup mushrooms

½ cup chopped onion

6 cloves of garlic, minced

¼ cup carrots

Salt and pepper to taste

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 eggs


Mix all ingredients together. Roll in lumpia wrappers. Deep fry.



Mix vinegar, water, sugar and salt in sauce pan. Add a tablespoon of ketchup and tomato sauce. Thicken with cornstarch slurry. Add sliced red hot pepper and a little chopped garlic.
